You and Your Self

There is no one

To run from

There is only you

And yourself

Where will you run

From your own self

How can you hide

From your own self

How can you hate

Your own self

There is no one else

But your own self 

Where ever you see

Who ever you interact with

You only project  

Your own self 

You cant block 

Your own self

You are stuck

And there is no escape 

From your own self

Its better to accept

And adapt

Its better to have wept

And slept 

Than to turn into a wreck 

You are obsessed

And you suspect 

That fear is also your own self

The insecurity 

The unpredictability

The instability 

Causing fluctuation 

In your affect 

Its better to collect

And confess 

Its better to connect

And correct

Rather then reject 

and misdirect 

Your thoughts 

Watch them

You are your enemy 

And so you see 

An enemy in every one else 

To have respect

You must first learn to respect 

To be loved

You must first learn to love

The problem is you

The solution is in you

There is no one else out there

Its you and your own self
