Have Some Mercy

It approaches

With the thumping

Of its Tenacious feet

My heart terrified

More like mummified

The pain

I am about to go thru

Is agonizing

Causing small cracks

In the middle of my eye

Releasing the tear

One at a time

Until the crack gets bigger

Spreading all over my face

Piercing my heart

With each heartbeat

Pain getting deeper

Making a hole in my soul

Passing the rope

Through that hole

Making a knot

Around my neck

To leave me hanging

With that dagger

Piercing my heart

Dripping blood

Mixed with my tears

Falling on the ground

Causing panic

In every dirt particle
